Lamelo Ball and Spire Academy play next in the Mustang Madness Tournament on January 4-5 against The Rock (Florida) and Trinity international (Nevada). These games are nothing new for Spire, as they are vastly superior to their competition, as they could be against nearly any other team.
According to Maxpreps.com The Rock are currently 4-5, the best team they have played is IMG Academy, one of the best teams in the country, which they lost by 15 points. They are not in the same class as the best teams in the country, so this should be an easy victory for Spire, I predict with their talent they should win 92-78.
Their second opponent, Trinity International is a more challenging opponent, currently 4-1, they have a good amount of talent. Despite the fact that this team has talent, they wont be the team that defeats Spire. Lamelo, Rocket Watts, Isaiah Jackson, and Myron Gardner are a big four that will be defeated unless it is by a top 10 team in the country.
In 12 games in High School Lamelo has been turning heads, currently averaging 21.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 9.4 assists, with 6 triple doubles.

Lamelo has put on many show stopping performances this season, with flashy passing, long threes, and crazy dunks. In just one game he can have multiple highlights that stop the crowd.
Tune in January 4th for Spires first game in the Mustang Madness Tournament.
